My Review

4.5 Stars.

Glove (Michael) is a dirty talking ex-Marine who is now part of a special unit called HORN. He along with his 2 other teammates Lordy, Grim and their boss Jazz. Michael had a horrible childhood being tossed around from foster home to foster home. He still has nightmares from his past and the what ifs that plague him. When he finally gets some answers to his past he needs to make things right.

His life was always one woman to the next with no real attachment. The easier the better. Mandy is Grim wife’s best friend. He has finally found a woman who is his match. But he knows she doesn’t feel the same way or does she?

This is my first book by this author and it was really good. I will definitely have to check out the rest of this series. This book tug at your heart strings after what Michael went through. But also had you rooting Michael and Mandy on hoping they both could overcome their own demons and make their way to each other. Another thing I really liked about this book was the banter between Glove, Grim, Lordy and Jazz it left you in stitches in some places. I look forward to see what’s coming next from this author.

Received this advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review.
