What an amazing conclusion to the story. I just loved Drew and Breanna. The first book Curveball was filled with tons of suspense. Rundown just keeps it going plus a whole lot more. You feel a real connection to their story.
Drew is a major league pitcher for the Red Sox’s a playboy womanizer. But when he met Breanna he felt the connection right away. He fell in love. But then after she told him she didn’t love him and couldn’t be with him he didn’t know what to do. He went out got drunk and looked for someone who could take his mind off her. He also asked his agent to help him set up an interview with the Giants.
Breanna knew she made a huge mistake pushing him away. She really did love him. She was just too scared to move on. But she knew it was time. So she was going to figure out a way to tell him. To show him how much she did really love him.
We find out all the questions in this book that we were left wondering about in the last one. Especially about her husband who was supposedly dead. I don’t think it was possible to love Drew any more than I did in the first book. To see the way he interacts with Bre’s kids is just so touching. I can’t say enough great things about Teresa’s books. Teresa is just pure genius. This is a MUST read book!!!
